To celebrate the centenary of World War 1 the Australian War Memorial has undergone a fantastic upgrade. The upgrades include a number of new permanent exhibitions and the introduction of a huge amount of digital technologies (e.g. iPads, multimedia projection, photo galleries). I spent three hours going through the place and I could have spent another three... but I was babysitting (two kids and one adult) who wanted to go to a movie at 2pm. The entire place is absolutely stunning and is an incredibly moving experience!
