Bendigo Prison Now Performing Arts Precint
On the weekend of the 18th and 19th of April Bendigo's new Ulumbarra Performing Arts Precinct opened for business (search: Ulumbarra Theatre). The location of the precinct, literally inside the old Bendigo Prison, has been a very successful "wow factor" since the project was announced more than 5 years ago. As someone that helped clear out the prison (as some summer work) I am very interested to see how the space has been used.
