I notice that you have 2 network thermostats for 2 zones, but both thermostats are located within zone 1. So if you turn on heating/cooling for zone 2 only, will they be able to sense and control the temperature in zone 2? Sorry if it's a silly question, but I also have the same situation and cannot understand how the thermostats located in zone 1 be able to sense the and control temperature in zone 2.
I just noticed that your portico is also lower than the garage floor. Where you made aware of this by PD? We weren't and just wondering what the reason for it is.
Hi Joe... thanks for asking! PD made this very clear to us from the beginning. I don't mean to be rude, but this information would have been very obvious on your contract drawings and elevations (well, it is on ours) and in your Tender document. Look for the spots that say "step down".
Brenton, Sorry I have no idea why my iPhone decided it knows how to spell your name better than me!
Agreed, the information is written on the contract. We initially didn't think anything of it because our floor level for our house was 200 mm higher in the contract drawings. Unfortunately, they changed that between contract and construction drawings and now that means the portico level will be lower than the footpath which is why I'm following it up.
Thanks for your help :) and no you're not being rude at all!
